Hypastat - Sodium Hypochlorite

HYPASTAT is the strongest commercially available sodium hypochlorite (bleach) formulation at >16% concentration, designed for deep cleaning and sanitising masonry surfaces prior to sealing.

Ideal for use on:

• Concrete paths
• Concrete blocks & walls
• Oamaru stone
• Other masonry surfaces

Note: HYPASTAT is a powerful pre-sealer cleaner and sanitiser. It is not an effective long-term moss control product.

Mixing & Coverage Instructions:

• Mix Ratio: 1:2 — 1L of concentrate mixed with 2L of water
  
• 20L makes 60L of mixed solution, treats approximately 180 m²
  

Application:

Apply mixed solution by sprayer to the surface. Allow 1–2 hours for the product to react with the substrate, then rinse off thoroughly using a low-pressure water blaster with a wide fan nozzle. As the product rinses off, dries, and reacts with UV, the surface will come clean — as close to original condition as reasonably expected. A repeat application may be required on south-facing or heavily shaded areas.

Safety:

• Place a drop sheet over plants near the treated area — HYPASTAT will burn vegetation on contact (plants typically recover)
• Wear gloves, safety glasses, and a P2 mask at all times
• After treatment: Once the substrate is fully dry, sealing with AQWB or Strata Nano is strongly recommended
